5 Ways you can build Consistency

G rowing up, there has been times when I set up a reading timetable to enable me study. On the day I pen down my timetable, zeal and enthusiasm often wakes me up to read. On other days, I wake up and snooze my alarm and go back to sleep. The following morning, I wake up very angry with myself for not reading and covering what I ought to have covered in my studies.    At a point, I had to read a book on Self discipline written by Brian Tracy. The eminent part of responsibility

In my years as a secondary school student, I was the only child at home with my parents because my other siblings were in boarden house in their respective schools. I learnt to work my chores into my school activities to ensure everything was well attended to. I remember onetime when I had an exam and I didn't want to cook because I really wanted to just read for the exam, I was told that people who write exams also have to eat. It wasn't so easy doing all those chores and still doing well in school but I did and I'm happy about all the lessons I learnt then because they helped me to form habits that are invaluable now. The words we speak are descriptions of what we intend to do and revelation of who we are. Most of the times, our words preceed what we plan to do. We speak daily about what we want to do, where we want to go, our desires and dreams, the choices we make and the things we don't want to do. And these end up as a driving force in our lives. We are surrounded daily by friends, family, colleagues and even strangers. Some of them or us even speak without considering the impact of what we say to people, organizations and the nation while some don't. It is therefore very important for us to be careful what we say because our words are powerful. The words you speak does not just affect your life alone. It also affects the people around you. Words can be either be destructive or constructive; they can inspire or destroy; they can help, heal, hinder, hurt, harm, humiliate and or humble. They have so much power that they can start or end wars between nations; destroy relat
